What kind of equipment do you use for your wedding videos?

At mbodefilms we use professional 3CCD digital video cameras and wireless microphones, which are standard in wedding videography (video photography). We also carry backup video and audio equipment.

How long will our wedding video be?

Depending on the length of your wedding ceremony and some key points of the wedding reception, your wedding video will be 30-60 minutes long, enjoyable to watch from the opening scene to the closing segment.

Why are two cameras better than one?

Two cameras compliment each other. For videotaping your wedding ceremony, you will need at least two cameras to cover different angles and to cover everything that is going to happen. Having two cameras will also help us to remain stationary and unobtrusive while we film your wedding ceremony. For your wedding reception, having two cameras will allow us to get more reaction shots. While one camera is covering the best man's toast, the other camera is covering the bride's reaction to his toast.

How do we book your wedding services?

A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit with a signed contract is required to book your wedding date. The remaining balances on the entire package are due two weeks before your wedding date.

Do you use special effects?

We have multiple special effects such as slow motion, black and white, and animation to highlight certain moments in your wedding video. Just like great film, we keep your wedding video story driven. We use special effects in moderation to keep the focus on you, not on the effects.

Music, why is it so important to videography?

Music helps create the mood of your wedding video. We encourage couples to make suggestions or provide music that fits their personalities. If the music suggestions don't provide a flow that works with the content of the video we will work with you and offer some other suggestions based on your music preferences.

What are the major differences between your wedding video packages and which one is best for me?

Contact us for a consultation. We'll discuss the needs of your wedding and recommend a package for you. We can even custom design a package to fit your needs.

Do we need to provide meals for you?

We respectfully ask that you provide meals at the reception for our hardworking videographers, preferably the same meal as the guests and in the same room. This will ensure that we will not miss a moment to capture on video.

What's your turnaround time?

Finished DVD's of your wedding video can take from 10-14 weeks to complete. We do not use sub-contractors and personally edit every video and it is not uncommon for us to spend up to 60-80 hours on each project. The finished project is more than worth the wait!

Will you attend our rehearsal?

Yes. This allows us to see clearly what type of video equipment will be required on the day of your wedding. We will see where the members of your wedding party will be standing and will be able to pinpoint camera placement well in advance. In our opinion, which is based on extensive experience, attendance at rehearsals is a must for wedding video professionals.

Is it true you only schedule one wedding per day?

Yes. Your wedding video is our only priority on your big day. We work together as a team to ensure that all of the most important moments of your day are captured.
